We would appreciate it if you could read the following information so that we can provide the best service for you and we can enjoy a happy and professional relationship together.
CANCELLATION, NO SHOW or MISSED APPOINTMENTS POLICY BOOKING FEE
Please do not feel offended if you’re asked to pay a Booking Fee for your appointments. Due to increased last-minute cancellations or ‘no shows’, especially during peak times, we require clients to pay a booking fee of between 25% for existing clients and 100% for new clients.We will send out your consultation card for completion 48 hours before your appointment and a reminder email the day before you appointment so please get in touch when you receive this message if any changes are needed.
> If appointment is rescheduled by you with more than 24hrs notice, your Booking Fee can be transferred.
> Any changes to your appointment with less than 24hrs notice, your Booking Fee WILL NOT be refunded.
> If you have booked more than one treatment and when you arrive you decide that you only want one treatment, you will still need to PAY IN FULL for the treatments you had booked as we cannot rebook these spaces. This is in line with 'NO SHOWS' and Late Cancellations (within 24 hours).
> If appointment is cancelled by yourself with less than 24hrs notice, your Booking Fee WILL NOT be refunded.
> If you fail to arrive for your appointment, your Booking Fee WILL NOT be refunded.
> Payment will be taken through our on-line booking system or when telephone to make your booking.
> The Booking Fee is redeemable against your Treatment cost. If we try to reschedule your appointment due to unforeseen circumstances and we are unable to reschedule the appointment, Booking Fees will be refunded.
REMINDERS
As a courtesy, Finishing Touches aims to send you confirmation of your booking when booking and a reminder to confirm your appointment the day prior to your appointment via email. However, if we are unable to remind you, or if you have not provided us with an email address, please understand that it remains your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments and the Charge/Penalty fee. In the event that you miss an appointment without contacting us, you will be unable to schedule future appointments without a Booking Fee.
NAIL WARRANTY
Whilst every care is taken to give you a Nail Treatment that will last - damages, breakages or chips can occur with general wear and tear. We are happy to repair any damage that happens within a 48 hour period free of charge. Please follow after care advise to give your Nail Treatment longevity. If you require a repair outside of this time frame ALL repairs are chargeable.
GEL REMOVAL
Our aim is to make sure your nails look their best. At Finishing Touches we use Gel Bottle and London Inc which are easy for us to remove so please book our basic soak off. However, if you have had your nails done elsewhere, we know that some salons use products that may adhere well but are harsh on the nails and will need longer to remove safely without damaging your natural nails so please book our advanced option. If you are unsure, please get in touch so we and advise on the best way to look after your nails.
REFUNDS
We DO NOT issue Refunds under any circumstances. Please ensure you are happy with your Treatment before you leave. We welcome the opportunity to rectify anything you are unhappy with if you let us know within 48 hours.
TIMEKEEPING POLICY
Feel free to arrive a few minutes early for your appointment, to allow you time to relax. If you are more than 15 minutes late, without contacting us, your appointment may need to be rescheduled, and you may be required to make a payment for your appointment. We firmly believe in the value of your time and make a conscience effort to avoid long waiting periods in the salon. There may be occasions, beyond our control, that we may run late or behind. We will endeavour to advise you as soon as is possible.
SALON SAFETY
As a courtesy to other Guests, and in our efforts to offer a relaxed and professional atmosphere, Finishing Touches ask that you DO NOT bring children (under 14 years old) or Pets with you to your appointment. The minimum age for Gel Polish is 14 years old.
GIFT VOUCHERS
Gift Vouchers are available through our on-line store for any amount. If you require a physical gift card, there is a minimum spend of £25.00. They cannot be exchanged for cash but can be used for treatment and products. Expiration is 6 months from the date of purchase.
PAYMENTS
We warmly accept Cash and card payments excluding American Express.Full payment is required at the conclusion of each service.
